Truck animals are supplied to the local Chinese restaurants, had an accident that has saved hundreds of cats from certain death, according to SUN.



The accident with the car, which was carrying pets for sale in Chinese cafes and restaurants, has attracted the attention of animal rights activists. Volunteers managed to save from eating about 1,000 cats. One of the police officers who arrived at the scene of an accident, a local social network decided to draw attention to the problem.

The driver of the car suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The very same operation to free the cats and inspection of the truck lasted for almost a day, it was attended by over 50 people.

As the witnesses, many of the animals died, and before reaching the destination. The cause of death was the lack of space in the boxes for transport - adults put together the monthly kittens, who had no chance of survival.
